Farm (2024)

The Farm is a Resource Building that produces Food. The player may have as many Farms as they wish, as long as the total number of Farm, Lumber Mill, Mine and Quarry does not exceed 18.

Upgrading a Farm will increase its Food Production rate and the maximum Food Storage. If a player's Total Food Storage is full, all production will stop.

All Troops have an hourly Food upkeep, meaning that they consume a certain amount of food from the Total Food Storage, which is deleted every second.

If players have a higher Upkeep than Food Production, no food will be produced, and the Food icon on the left side of the screen will display a flashing red 0. This is also called being 'Food Negative', and it has zero consequences for players Troops, or Turf. Accounts that produce enough Food to cover the hourly Upkeep, are known as 'Food Positive'. Upkeep can be reduced with the Reduce Upkeep Turf boost, and with certain Equipment.

Tips[]

Because of the Upkeep function, most players only build one Farm, which is necessary in order to upgrade the other Buildings. Food is then taken from the Bag when needed, or provided by other accounts which hyper produce Food, or the Guild Bank.
